Loved By God
The Loved By God committee was formed in 2019 in collaborative efforts with Reconciling in Christ to aid the church's journey to becoming an RIC congregation, and to continue its dedication of sharing God's love with all. We acknowledge both that good intentions are only the beginning step of making our church a more inclusive space, and that we always have more to learn. Inclusivity and allyship are a continuous effort, and we pledge to pursue these goals through educating ourselves and others, listening to the people we are trying to better recognize and support, and reflecting on what ways we can use our position in society and the church to uplift others. We are always eager to learn more, and welcome feedback and ideas!
Who We Are
What we do
We explore ways of engaging, learning, and lifting up our siblings in the LGBTQIA+ community, our Indigenous siblings, and our siblings of different races, ethnicities, and religious backgrounds.
